Philosophy of Care
As a naturopathic physician, I respect our connections to the interdependent web of life. I strive to provide the best healthcare possible to my patients as well as to help create a healthy planet in which all may thrive. I value the power of scientific methodology and I recognize the limitations in the current state of scientific knowledge as well as the individuality and transcendent mystery inherent in the healing process. I honor the ideas, sentiments and beliefs of my patients. I seek to offer my training, experience and encouraging support to help patients obtain the understanding they need to make truly informed decisions that match their preferences, personality and perspectives. I work to support patients in gaining access to their full potential to form and reach their health goals. One of my greatest joys is witnessing the process in which old destructive health habits are abandoned, long suffered blockages are removed, freeing patients to live the health behaviors that best facilitate attaining and maintaining optimal health, wellness and being fully alive to their meaning and purpose.
